Terms and Conditions
Last updated: August 2026
This English version is provided for convenience only. Only the German version of the General Terms and Conditions (AGB) is legally binding.
1. Preamble
tickee GmbH, Norderweg 1, 25856 Wobbenbüll, Germany, operates a platform under the tickee brand for the sale and processing of admission tickets (hereinafter “Tickets”) for events held by a wide range of organisers.
On behalf of the organisers, Tickee handles the technical and organisational processing of ticket sales, including payment processing, ticket delivery and provision of the system.
2. Contracting parties and conclusion of contract
When a Ticket is purchased via the tickee platform, contractual relationships arise exclusively between the buyer and the respective organiser of the event.
By clicking the button “Kostenpflichtig bestellen” (“Order with obligation to pay”), the buyer submits a binding offer to conclude a contract. The contract is concluded as soon as the Ticket is delivered to the buyer (digitally or by post).
Tickee itself is not the organiser, but acts as a service provider and intermediary on behalf of the respective organiser.
3. Services, delivery, prices and fees
Tickee provides the technical ordering system, payment processing and delivery of Tickets by email or, where offered, by post. Delivery takes place once payment has been received in full.
Tickee may charge a system fee and, where applicable, shipping costs for its services. These are shown transparently during the ordering process.
All prices are stated without VAT pursuant to § 19 of the German VAT Act (UStG) (small business regulation, Kleinunternehmerregelung).
The total amount is due for payment immediately upon completion of the ordering process.
4. Payment processing
Tickee is authorised by the respective organiser to accept payments in its own name but for the account of the organiser.
The buyer may use the payment methods offered in each case during the ordering process (e.g. payment in advance, PayPal, credit card, etc.).
5. Resale
Commercial or abusive resale of Tickets is prohibited. Tickets may be passed on for private purposes only, provided that no price mark-ups or misleading representations are made.
6. Admission
Admission to an event is only possible with a valid, undamaged Ticket.
An order confirmation or invoice alone does not entitle the holder to admission. The organiser may refuse admission if ticket manipulation or impermissible resale is suspected.
7. Event information
All event details (e.g. venue, time, line-up, schedule) are provided by the respective organiser. Tickee accepts no liability for the accuracy, timeliness or completeness of this information. The organiser may make changes at any time.
8. Insolvency of the organiser
In the event of an organiser’s insolvency, all claims exist exclusively against the organiser. In this case, Tickee cannot make any refunds or offer any substitute services.
9. Postponement, cancellation or partial cancellation of an event
If an event is postponed, cancelled or partially cancelled, the buyer’s claims are directed exclusively against the organiser.
The organiser may instruct Tickee to process the reversal of the Tickets.
System fees and shipping costs are generally not refunded.
10. Right of withdrawal, exchange
Pursuant to § 312g (2) no. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB), there is no right of withdrawal for contracts for services in connection with leisure activities (e.g. concerts or festivals) with a specified date or period.
An exchange of Tickets or withdrawal from the Ticket purchase is therefore excluded.
11. Liability
Tickee is only liable for damage caused by intent or gross negligence.
In the case of simple negligence, Tickee is only liable for breaches of material contractual obligations (“cardinal obligations”, Kardinalpflichten), but limited to the typically foreseeable damage.
Claims for injury to life, body or health remain unaffected by these limitations of liability.
Tickee is not liable for the cancellation, postponement or modification of events or for any resulting damage, unless Tickee caused these circumstances intentionally or through gross negligence.
12. Data protection
Tickee processes personal data exclusively in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the applicable data protection laws.
Further information can be found in the Privacy Policy.
13. Applicable law
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
If the buyer is a merchant (Kaufmann), Husum is the exclusive place of jurisdiction.
